Comrie Development Trust would like to announce that the sale of the bunker at Cultybraggan Camp was concluded on Friday 16 May achieving a price of £150,000. The money will go towards paying off loans taken out to purchase the camp.
The new owner is a company called Bogons Ltd which provides Internet Services to people and business, with over 20 years experience of the Internet – dating from the start of the Internet in the UK since 1989. They offer a range of services and consultancy to get individuals and businesses working on the Internet in the most cost effective and secure manner.
New owner, Brandon Butterworth said, “We are pleased to have bought the Bunker. I’ve had an initial look at what needs to be done to make it fit for business and now we will commence the work to bring it online. As well as an ideal location for long term data and media storage projects we’ve been working on for a while, we’re also hoping that we can work with local businesses and communities to provide them with tailored Internet hosting and connectivity services to meet their needs.”
Comrie Development Trust is keen to progress its plans for Cultybraggan on behalf of the community and we look forward to having Mr Butterworth and Bogons Ltd as our neighbours and exploring the potential opportunities having a business like this on site may bring.
