Comrie bought-out 90 acres of land including Cultybraggan Camp to create a community space and preserve the internationally recognised Ex POW camp. It has strong memories for many people and is revisited by hundreds who served or trained on it. Many people want to remember the camp and the Comrie Foundation has created the “Friends of Cultybraggan” Christmas Gift. It is now for sale for £20 and includes a print of Cultybraggan, a personalised scroll and a Camp 21 booklet in a presentation folder. In addition the Friend’s name is recorded in the Friends of Cultybraggan book and receives priority notification of key events and openings and project news plus free tours run by the Comrie Heritage Group. Please send a cheque to Comrie Development Trust Comrie Foundation and send it with your name and address to Comrie Development Trust, 32-34 Drummond Street, Comrie, Perthshire, PH6 2DW, – please order by the 20 December to receive your gift by Christmas or buy it from the Comrie Christmas Fayre on 6 December between 2-4pm St Kessog’s Square Comrie (please remember to Gift Aid).
