Winter Pruning

11/01/2017

Last rays of sunshine on a Winter’s afternoon signal the end of the working day.

First Comrie Community Orchard Work Day 2017 – Sunday 8 January.
A bright, dry, wind-free day – ideal for pruning the apple and pear trees in the open orchard – to the north of the allotments.  Great team work by all involved.

Some pictures from December 2016. …… Manure mulch applied around all the trees in the orchard.
