Home Renewables Loan Scheme
The Energy Saving Trust is offering interest free loans of up to £10,000 for heat generating renewables such as So
lar Thermal, Biomass and Heat Pumps. In addition the Scottish Government are offering a £2,000 cash back voucher for those who install under this scheme.
They are also offering up to £2,000 interest free loans for electricity generating renewables such as Solar PV, Wind Turbines and Micro Hydro. More information and loan forms are available here. Draught-proofing is one of the cheapest and most efficient ways to save energy – and money – in any type of building. Full draught-proofing will save you on average £55 per year and enable your to turn down your thermostat, saving another £60 per year.
